Swimsuit for self-conscious 13yo DD

My DD needs a new swimsuit and she'll be taking it on a school trip. That's always a minefield anyway, isn't it? She would like:

Top of legs covered
Padding on bra region
Shoulders covered

I don't really know where to look but what I've seen for her age ticks one of these if that. Are there requests really that unusual?

This is the one I got for my 14yo DD for her school trip after being given the same criteria!

I got my 13 yo dd one from speedo in a small adult size. Shortie legs and liner on bust.

How funny, so similar! I've added that one to the stock of websites to show her when she's recovered from the overwhelm of all the ideas I've given her from this thread!

I'm really grateful to everyone who's offered suggestions on here - and heartened that there are so many options!

Self conscious would probably describe all 13 year olds - I remember the horror of trying to find a swimsuit with my mother about then.

Is it for indoor or outdoor swimming?

For outdoor, there are so many shorts, shirt options for sun safety and just generally more suited to water sports and activities. Board shorts are great too.

For indoor, I would go with a boy short leg and a suit with some design or criss cross material etc. The very tight one colour ones really cling to you and being in a shorty can still feel very self conscious. If there is more material on it - even colours, designs, or ruffles or belts or ruching etc it can make it feel less clingy.
