What to wear with these dresses?

Hi, I'm hoping to get some good suggestions, please, as I'm way out of my comfort zone dress shopping :-(
First of all, would either of these be suitable for a wedding? I know they're both rather dark, but black is my usual go to colour so am trying to stick to darker colours as I feel more comfortable.
I'm going to a wedding in a few weeks and NEVER wear dresses so I'm struggling with this.
Secondly, any suggestions on colours/styles for shoes and bag? Fascinator/no fascinator? Arrrgghh if only I could wear my jeans!

I'd wear wedges a clutch bag and a fascinator personally but they'd look fabulous with a massive 4-weddings style hat!

This colour shoes (Zara) with the navy dress, with a bag (and a leather belt) in one of the dress colours.

No fascinator, best grooming, restrained jewellery as the dress is flouncy.

(With the black dress I’d wear bright green shoes - same intensity as the pink.)

I’m not sure someone who is uncomfortable in dresses wants to wear big hats!
I’ve never worn a fascinator to a wedding - do what you’re comfortable with

@PourUsAGlass the dresses are both lovely

If you don't usually wear dresses, go to the wedding in trousers.

Wear a pair of comfy shoes - in case of hours of hanging about (whilst photos etc done).

Colours are fine! The navy looks nicer if it's a choice. Don't wear a fascinator unless it's an aristocratic wedding in a castle..

I like gold shoes with navy for an elegant look. Or red for a more dramatic look. Open toe preferably to balance the length of the dress and you can go as high or low or chunky or pencil as you want. Pick a more metallic yellow gold rather than matte.

And just carry a clutch, or a little cross body bag if you're like me and want your hands free. Just google 'gold small cross body bag' for ideas.

Pair with a red lipstick and you're 'golden'!

If you really hate dresses, trousers are absolutely fine! Jumpsuits are very trendy now too but going to the toilet when drunk can be a challenge ha.

Thankyou ladies! Some fab suggestions here 😊 I am also looking at trouser options! Although I don't usually wear dresses, I do really like the two above, so have ordered and will update when they arrive 😁 xx

I think the black one is really nice but the blue lacks a nit of something in comparison, which obviously won't happen on the day. And i agree with using a rafia bag and wedge sandals.
