Dark brown semi permanent hair dye without red tones

I am after any recommendations for a dark brown semi permanent dye without any red tones. I have tried a few but they always appear to look red in the light and especially as ithe dye fades. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks

I would at least once go to a salon. They can do it for you and then tell you the 'number' you need to achieve what you want on your particular hair.

I find that if they don't have red tones they end up black

Ash (rather than anything "golden").

I have very dark hair (Mediterranean) and use a toner in the shower once a month, after conditioning. Helps keep brassy/orangey hues down.

I agree - that's the best one.
