I've recently been told that I'm going to need hearing aids due to high frequency hearing loss. Apparently the in-ear discrete hearing aids aren't suitable for this type of hearing loss so I'll need to wear the one with a unit behind the ear and a wire going into my ear.
At the moment I have very short cropped hair and rightly or wrongly want to grow it to cover my ears so that the hearing aids won't be as visible.
My hair is very thick and whenever I've tried to grow it in the past I've given up because it grows out rather than down and just looks a mess!!
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? I've wondered whether getting it to a certain point and then having hair extensions might work?
