Swimwear for holiday size 16/18

Hi, over the last year I’ve lost 5st and this is my first holiday since, so I need new swimwear and I am at an utter loss.
I bought what I thought was a large, well covering bikini yesterday, but the sight of what was on show was too much and I’m taking it back. Ironically I feel like it was easier to get something suitable when I was bigger.
I would like to cover my stomach, as I have some scarring from a bowel operation. Tankini’s just don’t seem to exist anymore, and I’m 5’9 so have a long body, so swimsuits are uncomfortable. please can anyone suggest any ? I’m slightly pear shaped, and 14/16 top and 16/18 bottom.

I got a tankini In Bravissimo. Nearly had a heart attack at the price though!

I've found that M&S and Next often have tankinis.

Thanks, I’ve looked at next but I’d like a brief with more depth in the sides if you know what I mean! They’re all so expensive too.

Have a look at Lands End. They often have discounts too

Try Simply Be. They have a huge swimsuit range including lots of tankini’s and their bikini bottoms provide a lot of coverage. Also don’t pay full price, google for a discount code. I usually manage to get at least 20% off.

I'm on a similar weight loss journey, last summer I was the same size had a jasmine one piece from Joules.
This year I have a few tankinis from Boden and a couple of one pieces. I also have a long body.
They have a 30%off everything sale this weekend and do free returns so worth ordering a few things to try.

Pour Moi and Bravissimo have tankinis with a choice of styles in the matching bottom. I buy the fold over waist ones from Pour Moi every summer and they’re really comfortable.

Have a look on Amazon, I got a lovely white control swimsuit from there. I'm really impressed with it, it's thick, long in the body, comfortable and not see through. It comes in lots of colours.

I've got a few tankinis from SHEIN. They are very good quality, very reasonably priced and they have a huge selection.
Personally, I like the skirted tankinis to hide my chunky thighs.

I buy bra sized tankinis from eBay - always new & far cheaper for good brands eg curvy Kate, Fantasie
