Alternatives to the new Sketcher sandal range

So, I really want a comfy pair of open toed sandals. I wear birkenstocks, which I love, but want something new. I've got bunions and I need the sandal to be supportive.

I saw these and tried them on

I thought they were really comfy but they're £100 in store. I've never spent that much on sandals!

Any thoughts from Sketcher fans? Any alternatives? I'm going to Asia in the summer and it will be hot, humid and lots of walking...

Not a sketchers fan at all. But Teva HURRICANE DRIFT are cheaper, lighter, waterproof and so so comfy.

Oh they look nice - will they be 'sticky' in very humid weather because of the material?

I've got a pair of Teva Tirras, so comfy. They have reduced my ankle pain when walking too

As do Sports Direct but I prefer not to buy there.

I was tempted by Teva, but I love Skechers and too my surprise they do a very similar design too Teva, bought them, they are absolutely amazing, so comfortable, just about to order another pair in black, I ordered charcoal originally, they also do navy.

There’s a Skechers outlet store near me that sells the shoes at discounted prices (compared to the website). It might be worth seeing if there’s any outlet shops near you?

Alternatively I’ve found some comfy walking sandals in Mountain Warehouse before.

I've got some crocs sandals and they are amazing- I need arch support and thick soles.

@backtohowthingswere no its weird, I thought they might be sticky, but they aren't at all. And i only wear leather inner sandals usually. Asos or amazon often have deals btw.

I was offered a 20% discount when I logged on to look at them - does that make them more affordable?

M and M direct are worth a look for cheap Sketchers.

Thanks all - some good suggestions. I can't find the Sketchers pair anywhere else - they're a new line, so no outlet will stock them yet. I appreciate the suggestions. When you have bunions, flat feet and osteoporosis, the sandal is KING.

@backtohowthingswere The teva like Skechers are called SKECHERS Womens On The Go 600 Brilliancy Sandals £39.99 on m&M direct. Most comfortable sandals I have ever had.
