Best CC cream for red, dry eczema skin?

Hi all. I currently don’t wear any skin makeup due to my eczema, because all the products I have tried my skin just immediately starts flaking, becomes very dry and it looks awful.
My face is very red and I’d really just like a CC cream (a green one for anti redness) that is actually moisturising and works for me.

The most recent one I’ve tried is L’Oréal Magic CC Cream - flakes. I’ve also tried Clinique - flakes.
I apply heavy duty moisturiser every morning, so that’s what I was doing before applying CC creams.

Can anyone help at all? I’m wanting to go to Boots tomorrow!

Erborian are the best ones I use, I use all of their range (BB, CC, redness)

The level to which I also rate Eborian CC red correct is off the charts. it is literally magic in a tube. Wipes the floor with every other redness product. It’s not cheap but then again you don’t want your face to look cheap!

Thanks guys! Is it hydrating enough for dry skin?

Best CC is IT Cosmetics IMo. Best BB definitely Erborian.

When you say heavy duty moisturizer, which one? Just trying to see if it's something in that that makes your skin flake.

@NowZeusHasLainWithLeda When I say heavy duty moisturiser I more mean emollient - it’s Zerobase from my doctors! Been using it for years.

Ah, ok. Was wondering if it was something with a load of silicone in or something.

I'm interested in the recommendations too.
I tried Erborian CC and found it really drying.

I have eczema and have stuck with the same facial products for ages to avoid a flare up on my face. I find cleansing it with a micellar water cleanser and a cotton wool pad is the best way to keep it clean, then I use olay beauty fluid (the moisturiser from the docs made my face worse) or a cold cream in winter. I then use max factor lasting performance foundation and one of their concealers. There pressed powder also works well for me. I've found not using many products and avoiding changing them is the best way for me to keep on top of it. I hope you find something that works __

go ask dermatologists I'd say otherwise you'll be trying endless creams and the doctor will know exactly what your skin needs x

Sunnysunbun · 28/05/2023 07:02

I don’t find Erborian drying. My skin is a catastrophe. It’s dry and incredibly sensitive. I also love that it lasts all day despite me being a menopausal mess.

Sunnysunbun · 28/05/2023 20:58

There are quite a few Erborian CC and BB creams on Vinted. I noticed a few 5ml ones for £3 of you just want to try and see what you think.

OP I've very red/pink toned skin and I've found Rosalique very good. I'm almost finished the tube I have and I'm definitely repurchasing . Also I know you asked about skincare not cosmetics but the Sculpted by Aimee range has a fabulous range of shades and Ive found the foundations to be the best skin match for my colouring.
