Padded bralettes for the totally flat-chested?

Pregnancy and breastfeeding have left my once very-small-but-at-least-existent boobs as tiny folds of skin with nipples on. I’m trying to respect and be grateful for my body but I need some help…

No idea of my size now (or really before) but my old bras still still around the rib cage and they’re 30.

I want comfort but also some shape under clothes, so I think padding is essential. Ideally nothing too high at the front so I can wear low necks. And preferably something I can buy online and be reasonably confident it will fit, as the thought of trying things on in a changing room fills me with horror.

Any recommendations for the boobless, please?

To the people who suggested Sloggi zero feel bralettes: THANK YOU. They are actually life-changingly comfortable. Wow.

Ooh, that's a recommendation and a half.
Do they honestly work for people who are completely flat chested? Someone upthread mentioned bra cups looking like empty caves, which is a brilliant way to describe my problem with bras.

@IAAL the recommendation is mainly for the comfort rather than the boob-enhancing shape, but it is really good - I am basically completely flat chested these days and it doesn’t gape at all, no empty caves, but neither does it have a ton of padding. I’m okay with that because it would look odd if I suddenly had a massive boob-profile. I just wanted not to have a completely flat man chest!

Thanks, @8008less. I will give one a go! I'm with you on wanting a change from a man-chest 😬

I love sloggi zero feel! So comfortable.

To avoid the flat man chest, I look for bras with the padding pouches and put these John Lewis push up bra pads in. They give a really good shape. Are still very small and almost weightless (unlike chicken fillets). I’ve put them in bikini tops too, you just have to subtly squeeze out the water with your forearms as you exit the water so they don’t drip for the next hour!

Thanks @Hidinginaonesie I tried to find these on the JL website but could only find the chicken fillets. What are they called?

Hidinginaonesie · 05/06/2023 07:52

These ones! Can get them in white or black.

@Hidinginaonesie fantastic thanks!

@IAAL yes the pads are thick enough to hold up, I am completely flat one side and they make me even, and they are super comfy too.

Thank you - I will give one a go...

This is a bit old but just found it when searching - h+m do some pretty lace styles with no underwiring and depending on the outfit I sometimes ‘double up’ on the padding - it’s easy to add into the pocket.

going to look at sloggi rec too.

so many of my friends were left permanently larger after breastfeeding! Ah well.
