Are all linen trousers see through?!

Been on the hunt for ages now for some high-waisted, wide legged white linen trousers. Plenty around, but every single pair I've tried appear to be completely see through, even when wearing nude pants. I've been upping my price bracket thinking it might be better quality fabric/thicker etc, and even ones from Phase Eight and Reiss are see through. How do people wear them in real life?!

Any suggestions for non-see through ones welcome!

I have several pairs of linen trousers in diff colours. I guess they are see through to an extent but I can’t say it bothers me. Nude knickers then I’m good to go. There’s nothing to see even though they are a bit see through iyswim?

Also I read that red knickers are better than nude at being invisible.

Yes they are! I have given up on pale colours. Black or navy blue are ok?

The red underwear thing is supposed to work with white clothing. Has never worked for me though, always shows through a white top. Nude always!

The only pair I've found to not have this problem are vintage Calvin Klein, they are partially lined to shorts length in the same white linen. Maybe searching vintage in quality brands might bring something up.

You can get liners a bit like wearing a waist slip.

I wear a nude thong and then don’t think about it further. If people can still see, they’re clearly looking too much.
