Wedding Jewellery - mixing metals?

My engagement ring and wedding band are platinum.

Im having a handmade freshwater pearl necklace made so this is pretty much non-metal.

My earrings are my something old, passed down from my mum when she got married - they’re drop pearl earrings with a gold&diamond top/stud. - now I did plan on having all of my jewellery silver to match my ring. And I’m unsure now whether to see if the earrings can be dipped to be silver, or whether to just wear gold and not worry that my rings are silver?

I wouldn’t ever usually mix metals so I’m really stuck on what to do 😂

I think they’re far enough apart that it won’t matter, if it was a gold bracelet or silver necklace I think it would look odd but not rings and earrings. Your jewellery sounds beautiful.

You're overthinking. Noone will notice if the studs are gold or silver coloured. Unless you're going to have close up photos with your ears and hands next to each other this is a non-issue.

I had exactly this combination, platinum rings, pearl necklace and yellow gold pearl drop earrings, it was fine.

Thanks all! I think I’ll just take them to be cleaned professionally in that case and stick with it 🤭
