Nivea factor 30 is ridiculously thick and gloomy....any suggestions for factor 30/50? Not for face...I've got that sorted

We really like the Piz Buin spray one. It has a tan enhancer in it too.

AuntieMarys · 22/05/2023 08:09

I'm never sure about sprays that I'm actually using enough! I have very fair skin which burns erratically

Hawaiian tropic

Altruist is brilliant - rubs in like body lotion, isn't greasy and doesn't have a strong suncream smell. It's pretty cheap too.

PurBal · 22/05/2023 09:41

I’m also a fan of La Roche-Posay. I buy a regular cream in factor 50.

DamnAndDashIt · 22/05/2023 09:43

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration

Lovely stuff, even the factor 50 absorbs well and just leaves a lovely glow, rather than a white cast.

I always use Boots Soltan.

So many others don't have 5 star UVA protection, which is just as important as UVB I think.

Bondi Sands

zebette · 22/05/2023 10:13

Altruist is fantastic - easy to rub in, works as a moisturiser, factor 50, reasonably priced. And they're not even paying me commission 😉

SuperGoop Play is fab. Goes on like a body lotion, really light. Factor 50.

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration or Nivea Protect & Dry Touch.

Another vote here for altruist

AuntieMarys · 22/05/2023 12:54

Thanks for the thread, going to try this too.

MiniCooperLover · 23/05/2023 08:46

LIDL do a great SPF30 and SPF50. We used Nivea on holiday recently, burnt to a crisp (SPF50!), swapped to Soltan and that was fine.

ParadiseLaundry · 23/05/2023 09:45

A bit redundant now you've already ordered it, but another vote for the Altruist.

I use it on my face and I'm prone to acne and rosacea, it absorbs great, make up goes on so well over the top of it too. I use it on DC, even DS who has eczema. Amazing product.
