Do you wear socks with leather loafers

Just curious how do people wear ladies leather loafers. No socks (any problems with sweaty feet?) or with socks (any sock recommendations?)

I wear socks' plain black. Not sure if it's the done thing but no socks feels a bit gross and unhygienic to me.

my feet would be promptly cut to ribbons if I attempted to wear loafers without wearing socks too.

I wear ankle or knee high pop socks with mine, and shoe liner type things in the summer.

I'm a sock wearer too, as it's that or I'd have huge blisters. I would love to be able to wear them without.

I don't wear loafers as my feet don't like them, but I do wear brogues and definitely socks. Usually something interesting and colourful (not wacky cartoon tho).
On the high street, cos often have something good. The blog En Brogue has a couple of good articles about interesting online sick retailers.

Depends. With driving shoe-style loafers no socks (as made to be worn without them so I find them okay). More formal loafers I wear with knee high pop socks so they don’t rip

Yes, socks or those invisible shoe liner things that are never actually invisible and tend to slip off my heels. Grrr.

No I wouldn't normally wear socks or tights.

I do have black ones I occasionally wear for work and I possibly would wear black tights with them. But for casual wear, no.
