What do you think of this balayage?

My DD 16, had her hair balayaged and I can't decide if it's right or not.

As per the photo she has two bright white spots on the top of her head. Not sure how the hairdresser missed them when she dried and curled it. We both had our hair done by same hairdresser, I had root colour, cut and blow and DD had balayage, cut and blow and we were out of there in 3 hours. This seemed quick but I'm not a hairdresser, so no clue if this is normal.

I'm going to go back about the white spots as I paid £85, how will they get rid of them though.

Is the rest OK do you think? She's happy with it apart from white spots.

If your DD is happy with it then maybe best not to make too much fuss so as to not upset her, but I don’t think it’s brilliant tbh. This is my DDs hair after her balayage.

Looks about right with how dark her hair is. The blonde process has to be gradual. Deffo wouldn't be happy about the blobs though

Should add my DD has very dark natural hair colour

Its not the best bayalage but it looks very natural at least. The blobs are bad, definitely go back and surely they can colour them in?

I think it looks good (bar the blobs)! I think 3 hours sounds about right too.

I had a blob like that once - my hairdresser was applying the bleach “free hand” and then the foil slipped down. She deffo knew and didn’t do anything about it.

The blobs are a mistake that they should be able to fix. The balyage is v subtle but perhaps that's what she wanted. It's usually a lengthy enough process, always seem to take forever for me. Main thing is she's happy with the rest of it. I find bringing a photo is best to get the look you're going for.

The rest is lovely to be fair and she said it had to be a gradual process as she is dark. I'll get in touch and ask her to fix the blobs!
