Facial hair removal

What is best. Currently I’m using tweezers most days. Occasionally wax using home kit.

I asked about laser but am worried about pigmentation and the face you can only shave in between treatments. And I’d have to let it grow for 4 weeks for them to assess it.

What do any of you do?

my issue is upper lip which has a mix of fine fair ones which I can live with , thick white ones and a number of darker ones.

I don't have any thick or dark hairs but I've always had loads of 'peach fuzz'

I shave it off with an electric lady shaver every few days. Takes less than a minute and my makeup looks way better and sits better on my face. The lady who tints my lashes recommended me to do it. She says loads of women do it now.

It's also good for exfoliation.

Definitely threading.

It's very cheap (I pay about £8 for eyebrows and £4 or £5 for upper lip) and I go every three weeks. It's neater and more accurate than waxing, they don't use any products on the skin, it's essentially plucking but a line of hairs at the same time.

There are many independent places that do it but also most Superdrug branches offer threading in store too.

Do you find a decrease in growth with threading?

Do you find a decrease in growth with threading?

Yes in the same way as waxing, as it removes from the root so over time should decrease growth

AnythingMuppetTM · 21/05/2023 18:47

I like threading too.

Snoopsnoggysnog · 21/05/2023 18:49

Threading, but it does not reduce growth.

Veet facial wax strips
