Tutter · 19/02/2008 19:11

DualCycloneCod · 19/02/2008 19:12

rethink.

ahundredtimes · 19/02/2008 19:25

I like this Tutter. Do you like?

Could go with any of the shoes.

I quite liked the first pair of shoes too!

ahundredtimes · 19/02/2008 19:27

Or if you are in the market for gold then this, with black bolero or scarf and shoes?

You might look like a glass of champagne, but that is quite weddingy.

Tutter · 19/02/2008 19:27

i have seen that 100x yes

in fact tis in my basket

think big print could be good on less-than-ideal body

OP posts:
Tutter · 19/02/2008 19:28

i do like gold - is a good colour on me

but unfortunately am a 14 right now

I saw the dress and jacket together in the shop window the other day, I thought it look lovely.

Tutter · 19/02/2008 19:29

i struggle with dresses, esp when not firm of body

it's so easy to do trousers plus tailored jacket plus big hat

looks smart adn - as long as jacket fits well - is flattering

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 19/02/2008 19:36

Yes, I know what you mean. Am unclear - do you have the jacket or are we looking for jacket too? [hopeful]

Tutter · 19/02/2008 19:50

no i don't have the jacket. that too is in the basket. shopping bag i mean

i caused confusion by mentioning i have something similar already (bought for another weddging 1 year + ago) but tis just a little snug

chonky · 20/02/2008 19:09

Numero dos for me.

MrsBadger · 20/02/2008 19:57

dos

no question

JoeCool · 20/02/2008 21:30

Nobody's asked for my opinion but I'm fascinated by this long debate!

So, my twopenn'orth is STOP!! Black shoes too heavy for those dresses. I can see where you were going with the wide-legged black pants and the shoes but if we've moved on from there (not sure about black trews at a wedding) then i like your poppy dress and the gold one but think you'd be disappointed by the other. It's just jersey, which doesn't have that 'special' look for the price.

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works but could you go for one of the dresses, with the jacket you have? And cream, tan or gold shoes? Which would work better with the cream hat.

Is this entirely unhelpful?!!!
