Stylish and edgy concert outfit ideas please

Almost 40-year old mum of toddlers here, not quite lost the baby weight at size 14-16 (mostly 16 with too-large boobs 🥴) - going to another city for a weekend with friends to watch Muse. Lucky to be going as a VIP, so 3 course dinner and drinks at the venue... likely to head out after to a bar or club.

Looking to wear something a little on the edgy side but still stylish. I feel most comfortable with and suit black clothing. I struggle with jeans because I'm curvy and still have a bit of a mum tum. I own shapewear so will wear under dresses etc.

I have long blonde hair, green eyes, and my colouring is pale to medium but will be fake tanning before for a bit of a glow.

Any ideas?

I've been to loads of Muse concerts and the general dress code is usually a black t shirt and jeans! And the concert VIP really isn't something to dress up for as I found much to my disappointment.

My concert uniform is usually a decent top (like mint velvet), skinny jeans, decent boots and a good bag.

Wear something warm as the actual concert will be outdoors?!

I usually wear midi dresses with trainers, black wet look leggings with longline blouse/top and trainers or heels… If I wear jeans, it’s usually high waisted with long top…
I prefer skinny or tapered trousers to wide leg.

@Bluebells1970 - this sounds good to me. I’m just after feeling confident and comfortable really. Just been browsing Mint Velvet so will take a look. (Recently bought a gorgeous, short military coat from there and may wear that!)

Mint Velvet leather look leggings, super stretchy and flattering round the waist can be dressed up with something sparkly or dressed down with a T-shirt and over sized cardigan for if it gets chilly.

I will likely need to layer @Xrayvision as I get super hot indoors and in bars etc. A coat is definitely on the plan. :)

I've got a long black denim maxi skirt that I'm wearing all the time just now it's so versatile. Looks great with trainers, docs and sandals so far.

Can dress up or down.

@TruthRevolution - I love that skirt! Can I ask is it very long ( I’m only 5’3 so suspect it might be too long for me)?

So here’s some of the stuff I’ve bought (alongside some recent stuff I already own). I’ve also got some high waisted ripped black jeans, a black pleated midi skirt, white and black ruched sleeve blazers, a faux leather waterfall jacket and some green (and black) tapered joggers/trousers.

Having my nails done also so will go for black or bright orange likely.

Can't say I've ever been to see Muse but if it's normally casual and you want to be slightly dressed up because of going out afterwards and VIP, etc how about something like this and really style your hair, dramatic make up.
