Hair bow to a wedding?

I have a beautiful dark navy dress. I want a hair accessory But not a fascintor. Would it look really naff if I wore my hair half up half down as the photo with the bow attached to just above the half way line?

I'm with you re the matchy matchy - the navy one I bought is a light navy colour which goes with, but doesn't match, my White Stuff dress (from last summer's collection) which has mainly muted (bolder than pastel but not very bright) cerise, mint and dark blue so the fascinator keys in nicely. It was only £17, which has given me a wedding outfit that's a lot cheaper than having to start from scratch.

I think navy is good against blonde or red hair, but if you're darker I'd go for a contrasting colour and use that also on my nails or shoes or bag.
