DH has very thick curly hair down to his shoulders. He suffers what we guess is

Psoriasis on his scalp, beard and skin.

The issue is he exercises frequently and only rinses it with water because when he uses the product it irritates his skin and makes his hair go frizzy. I have to bluntly tell him that sometimes his hair smells and then he will go wash it.

What can he use that will solve both issues? Thank you!

First he needs to get a diagnosis from the gp or a pharmacist and then he can buy special shampoo. They may also suggest something for the rest of him.

He's going to have to wash it if it stinks. Unless fabreeze will work.

Does he have anything on prescription for the scalp psoriasis? For myself I tried the shampoos an the lotions for years and the only thing that worked and still does is Betnovate Scalp Application. I have been in a sort of remission for a long time. I only have it on my elbows under my breasts and at the base of my spine. I also get it in my ears and find the Betnovate calms it down. A few drops works for me. The bottle I use last me for about a year so you can see I use it sparingly
