What Would You Wear If You Were Me? (Plus Size)

What would you wear if you were me? Size 22 with a big tum, grey haired though decent style and condition, hurtling towards 50 needing some tops or dresses for meals out.

I had another thread and I’m getting there with the basics but going out things are proving a bit more difficult to find. I’m not one for fussy stuff or very patterned things.

Links would be very much appreciated but I will be grateful for any ideas! Thank you. 😁

I find Phase Eight great for tops that you can wear for going out.

Something like this jacket would look great (just as it does on the model) over a plain tshirt or a different top & trousers for going out. This would look well for going out. Here is a set if you have an event to go to

This is also pretty to wear with a pair of linen trousers.

Try seasalt too. Their dresses are great. I bought a fab dress from Sahara last year in linen and wore it to a couple of parties. I am a size 22 with smaller hips.
I buy my work clothes from Marina Rinaldi but from their outlet!

@Aliensrus i buy from two ladies on eBay (little fashion corner) They buy from the outlet in Italy.
I wait for the last season stuff. I am not into the latest thing so if I have seen a full price item I just wait for it to pop up. Tbh the sale is usually 50% off. I am on the mailing list in Florence too. I wear my stuff for years then sell it if I shrink!

That Adele FatFace dress is so nice. But am a little wary of puffed sleeves as am broad shouldered anyway. Are they very poufy?

Can’t help you with clothes labels but one thing I’ve become aware of since I’ve become much bigger is that crew neck necklines are not flattering. I’m Better off within boatneck, v neck or scooped neck lines.

I do love a lot of Marina Rinaldi but it’s way out of my budget. My sister in law wears a lot of it and always looks very beautifully put together:
