I want workout leggings that aren't expensive... help

I want some thick decent quality but super super comfortable leggings that aren't expensive and that stay up dont got baggy etc.

I am a bit overweight so want them to be comfortable on the waist.

All the ones i try are either poor quality or the fit isn't right or they lose their shape during the day.

Can anyone recommend some? I would be a size 14/16

Thank you

I just wear M&S basic leggings, they are fine for me.

ExplodingCarrots · 13/05/2023 07:21

I got mine from matalan . Around £12. I'm a size 16. Waist band comes up quite high and stays there. Washed well .

TookTheBook · 13/05/2023 07:23

Reebok.

I love my ones from m&s. I get these ones and really rate them

M&S and they often bring it new colours etc then put the previous ones in sale

Iuga leggings from Amazon are lovely, thick and shaping. They do various lengths and colou rs.

Bathintheshed · 13/05/2023 07:34

I rate H&M sports leggings. I wear mine most days and they have lasted years. Nit at all see through and lovely and soft.

mynameiscalypso · 13/05/2023 07:34

TK Maxx often have discounts on good brands like Adidas and Under Armour

Lampzade · 13/05/2023 07:35

I second Matalan. Fantastic quality, great price

rookiemere · 13/05/2023 07:37

I started buying M&S ones during lockdown ( only shop that was open Grin) and they have lasted incredibly well - still as good as when I bought them 3 years ago.

broccolibush · 13/05/2023 07:37

USA Pro leggings from Sports Direct are fab and seemingly always on offer. They’ve worked for me from a size 14 to size 6 (and halfway back again). I really rate them.

SourDoughToast · 13/05/2023 07:39

I like the M&S good move range.

Fabletics. Sign up for the two for £20 or whatever it is now and cancel.

Second recommendations for M&S Goodmove, just as good as Sweaty Betty for me -min terms of comfort and wash just as well

timetochangethename · 13/05/2023 07:48

Sorry to jump on but does anyone have recommendations for any (non workout) plain black leggings? Ones that keep a good shape/fit.

PinkOrangeTulip · 13/05/2023 07:51

Another one for H&M sport leggings. I got some recently , I’m also a size 14 at the moment with a post baby tum , the H&M ones are high waisted and hold everything in. Material is like the dri fit ones from Nike.

Pomsky · 13/05/2023 07:53

Queenieke leggings on Amazon, really comfy and loads of styles

Logoplanter · 13/05/2023 08:02

I like running gear from Decathlon and have some good leggings from there - plain, non-offensive ones.

Also love Rainbow and Sprinkles leggings which come in lots of fun prints. They run big though so you'll want to size down.

Ihaveshitfriends · 13/05/2023 08:16

McArthur Glen outlets sometimes have a Sweaty Betty outlet in them so you can buy previous seasons leggings.

MrsHaroldRobbins · 13/05/2023 08:22

Agree with all others who have mentioned M&S Good Move range. The ones I have are high waisted and have a tie inside the waist for a snug fit. Half the price of Sweaty Betty and just as good.

Bearpawk · 13/05/2023 08:24

Fabletics 2 for £22 are incredible.

These are brilliant. Phone pocket on the side, little zip pocket on the back of the waistband. Wash brilliantly. I'm a size 16.

RedSquirrelRoar · 13/05/2023 08:28

Another vote for matalan - I’ve got the ones with the phone pocket on the side and find they stay up really well and the wide waistband is flattering.

FurAndFeathers · 13/05/2023 08:30

You need ones with a drawstring waist to ensure they stay up.

m and a are good
