Advice needed re botox and fillers in London

Hello everyone,

I’m 41 years old and never tried facial injections on any sort, but since I’ve lost some weight recently my face has become a bit gaunt and makes me look knackered…

Any recommendation for a good doctor in London? I’d really like to find one that I can trust would give me the most natural look!

Does anyone have any feedback on Dr Paul Charlson of Intoskin? He seems to have loads of experience and accreditations, but not many reviews online…

Thank you!!

No experience of Dr Paul Charlston however cannot recommend Dr Adil Sarwar at Skin Science clinic enough. https://skinscienceclinic.co.uk/

Two generations of our family now use him and honestly he is great. Very much advocates for a natural aesthetic. He does enough to make you look fresh and rejuvenated but not like you’ve had “ work done”. Definitely worth a look or even a consultation.

Where in London? I go to a great place in St John’s Wood.

Do you go along and they tell you what you need or do you need to be precise yourself?

You don’t have to be too precise yourself, unless you know exactly what you would would like. The first time I went, Dr Sarwar did a consultation, probably lasted about 20-30 minutes and began by asking what areas I was most unhappy with, what I would like to change and then advised the best treatments/ skin care to give me the results I wanted. I started with baby Botox to smooth the forehead and crows feet and the difference even that made was amazing. He can work out a whole treatment plan depending on what you’re hoping to achieve, budget etc.

In which case, I highly recommend Davina at Look Lovely London. She does my Botox and fillers and it looks very natural.

https://www.atyu.co.uk/ - really recommend here. Aaron is great. Great consultation and did my Botox in stages as I'd had some eye droop with last person I used, so we could fins out what had caused it and make sure it didn't happen again (it didn't and love the results).

Honestly, I couldn’t recommend PHI Clinic on Harley Street enough. I sometimes see Dr Tapan Patel and sometimes his team, and you can tell everyone is trained to a really high standard.
What I liked most was that they actually talk you out of things if you don’t need it. Mine was more about subtle tweaks to restore volume rather than anything obvious, and still feels like me.
I can’t speak personally on Dr Paul Charlson, but I’d definitely say go somewhere that prioritises natural results and a proper consultation, especially if it’s your first time. That part makes all the difference.
Hope that helps a bit 💛
