Navy blazer / jacket to wear with boyfriend / barrel jeans

looking for ideas for a navy jacket / blazer to wear casually with faded boyfriend jeans / barrel jeans this Spring / summer - keep seeing pictures in magazines but can't seem to find a mid price jacket to suit me
5ft 8 size 10 no bust! in my 50s but like to think i'm still looking fairly trendy !

I like this linen-mix blazer from M&S with a boyfriend/ girlfriend jean, and white or striped tee. Decent fabric, reasonable price and the cut is relaxed without being too oversized. I’m very pleased with it. (Tho I am both busty and round so I think the opposite of your shape! But I still reckon worth a go …)

I wanted mine oversized.

I recently bought this one in a different colour from M&S and have been wearing it every chance I get, usually with wide-leg jeans. It’s such nice quality, easy to wear but makes me feel ‘put together’. Like the one linked above (also lovely) relaxed enough to be stylish without being massively oversized. I still had to size down, but I’m short! Worth trying on in store.

Love the look of all the blazers, but looking for one with no polyester or very little, linen, I'm not sure because of the creasing.

I got this one. Personally, I avoid linen like the plague as it creases so easily.

Just been in john lewis today, I tried the whistles jacket again , in a size down to a 8 I normally wear a 10 but it fitted big, I still didn't like how the whistles fitted, but did have luck with a john lewis own brand one, sorry I can't link but its £65 its done in black and navy, its stretch like the whistles one, but more smart looking , I think, I am going to wear it with jeans just to smarten me up a bit.

The John Lewis Ponte jacket looks like what you’d wear if you work on reception at a mid-budget hotel.

Well I like it , looks great with jeans, I'm petite 5ft2 so it might not suit someone very tall.

Hush do a good range of blazers in different shapes. You could also try Cos - a bit pricier but have some good sales.
