What would you wear with a rose gold sequin kimono

We're off to see Harry Styles in a couple of weeks so obviously need to get the sequins out.
I've got a long rose gold sheet kimono with some sequin applique (please no mean comments as I do love it) but haven't a clue what to wear. I'm all about comfort but don't tend to wear things so shiny normally so not sure what it would go with.

Can you link to the kimono!? At a guess something quite plain. Possibly all black so as not to take away from the main item itself. Hard to say without seeing it though. No Shame here, wear what you feel good in 💜

I was thinking all black as well. But only thing I have for my feet are black boots and I don't want sore feet 🥴

Capris, skinny jeans or leggings with a black or white vest top.

You could wear it over a slip dress or over a tank top and jeans or wide leg trousers maybe?

That's lovely, I have something vaguely similar I wear black leather look jeans, a black cami and heels but you could wear pointy toed pumps if you don't want to wear heels? How dressy are you wanting to go?

High waisted slim or straight jeans in a dark denim, and a slinky navy top tucked in. Will make the rose gold pop. Cool boots or saddles. I agree a slip dress would look lovely too.

That's really lovely, I too would go all white/cream/palest shell pink and for comfort some blingy runners.

I would love to wear that but I wouldn't have the confidence to wear all white and I KNOW id spill something down me.

I don't want to go too dressy as I never normally would for a gig but feel I need to make an effort with this one. I'm going for dinner and drinks before so be nice to make a little effort.

Leather look jeans could be good. I was expecting it to be really warm when we go but I don't think it will be the way the weather is up here so wouldn't mind all black.

Its very long so I think skinnies might be best as I don't want too much flapping about! I know skinnies are a bad word these days but I like them!

Never considered navy actually but that could be a bit lighter than all black!

@inisfree I actually have some rose gold Supergas. Would that work?

So I think a try on this week of an all black outfit, blue jeans and white/pale pink top and blue jeans and a white top.
I've got rose gold Supergas, pointed flats, rose gold sandals and black boots as well.

I would go all dark colour and one of your rose gold pairs of shoes.

My style wouldn't wear white and blue and this but then it depends on your style and what feels and looks good.....and makes you feel confident and ready to go. Pick what you like and what suits you!

Most importantly, own it!! Have the best time.

Had a try on with all your suggestions and have decided all dark underneath for definite. I also tried it with my Doc Martens sandals which I hadn't considered before I really like that look so I think I'm all sorted!

I did buy a sheer black net rose gold sequin bodysuit from Silk Fred (sold out now) earlier this spring.

For this. Depends. Nice paler cami top. &otherstories has nice pale knits.

That’s lovely but are you standing? I’d be worried about it getting pulled/snagged in the crowd. I’d be tempted to have space in a bag it can go in just in case (and you can still wear it for dinner/drinks etc). Probably me being paranoid but I damaged something similar in a simile scenario!

Good thinking but no, we've got seats so it'll be safe!! About as far away from the stage as we could be but a tickets a ticket right!
