Empire line midi dress

I have been invited to a works celebration do (50th anniversary) which my dh does work for. I am 51, 5ft6 ish size 18, and a bit overweight and have a middle I'd like to not emphasise which is why I think empire line would be best. Ideally I'd love an emerald green dress with 3/4 length sleeves but yet to find anything, though not looked a huge amount yet.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've seen some lovely dresses suggested for others, sadly not suitable for me. Ideally under £100, closer to £50 if possible

How big are your boobs? I find most dresses are empire line on me due to boobs.

What do you think of this

Not massive, am unsure on actual size as according to the website where you take various measurements it was 34GG or something where I'd been wearing 38 d or dd. That dress shape and fabric is lovely, sadly not available in my size. The green is a bit pale for me.

The Phase Eight one is perfect colour but over my budget, and I'm not sure about the sleeve length. The other one isn't available in my size and I'm not sure about the green tbh

That's a bit too long @Yate12 However, I have just had a look at the website and have found a couple. Nothing like what I was after but I really like them

Ah yes, sorry should have thought, even at 5.8 the dresses are still just about floor length on me, so probably no good for shorter people!

Next have really upped their game this year, hope you find something suitable. Scarlett & Jo and possibly Lady V also worth a look.

@Yate12 thank you, I'll take a look at those
