The Ordinary red face peel liquid thingy

I have just found an unopened The Ordinary red face peel at the back of my cupboard.

I bought it during the first lock down but didn't get round to using it, mainly because I was worried that my face would fall off.

There is no expiry date on the packaging except to use within 12 months of opening.

Do you think it will be ok to use, I must have had it for three years now but it's definitely not been opened.

I think it will be fine. If it was too old it would lose efficacy if anything.
I use this stuff all the time. It can be a bit stingy so I would advise just 5 mins once a week, working up to 10 min then up to twice a week if you want to.
I just do 10 mins once a week.
Make sure you wear an SPF on your face, even on cloudy days, or you will burn and cause sun damage. I’ve only forgotten once & lived to regret it. Just for an hours walk on an over cast day during lockdown.

Thanks for that @BloodyInternetWeirdos. I will remember the spf.

Make sure your face is completely dry before using it! Unless you want the sensation of fire ants nibbling your face, that is…

I think it’ll be fine. It’s pretty intense though so I’d maybe just leave it on for 4-5 mins the first time and do it at night so your skin has a chance to settle after. And use quite gentle products, no actives afterwards. I’m pretty gung ho with my (rhino) skin and even I find it fairly full on. It’s great though, I love the effect, you’ve reminded me to use it again!

I remember all the reasons why I was too scared to use it now 😁. I might try it on the back of my hand first time.

Ordinarily I'd be gung-ho, but I'm on day 4 of a horrible reaction to an out of date spf so I'd be cautious.

If you want to use it but not on your face, it makes an excellent foot treatment for any hard/rough bits.

That's a good idea, might try it on my feet first.
