Prom shirt with extra long sleeves

Ds is 6'3". We have found him a nice suit, but all the shirts we have seen so far have standard length sleeves.

Ideally, he would like a shirt similar to the attached picture: white, with fancy dark blue buttons and blue buttonholes. I can't find the exact shirt he tried on at Slaters. It was similar to the picture, but the buttons were in pairs.

Any ideas where we might find something like that, but with extra length sleeves?

Anyone? There must be others in the same boat, surely?

I have a 'tall and large' men's shop near me - maybe there is something similar?

There was one, but it closed down.

We've bought DH a shirt from slaters with extra long sleeves - have they tried any of their other shops for you?

They only have plain shirts in the extra long sleeves.

I am in the same boat as you and I’m looking at slaters.
Where did you get the suit as we haven’t found one he likes yet and time is ticking on.

We got the suit from Slaters and they are tailoring it to him. It's not a suit I would have chosen (more office than prom) but it's what he wants. We also bought tie and pocket square there.

We looked at Next, M&S, JL etc - basically worked our way down the high street - but the choices were small. Limited even further by ds's height and my budget.

We got a shirt online from Charles Tyrwhitt, and a pair of neutral, black, office shoes from Clarkes.

It did take a couple of visits to Slaters for ds to get his head around how a suit works. At first he hated everything, but that was because it was so strange and new.

Unless your school has a very specific dress code for Prom, a suit is not compulsory. We also considered smart trousers and shirt with a waistcoat, one of shirt or waistcoat being flamboyant and the other plain. Alternatively, with ds's height, I think a Nehru shirt would look stunning on him.

Whatever you do, I highly recommend feeding ds immediately before braving the shops!
