Was anyone else really underwhelmed by this? I'm not sure whether to feel disappointed or reassured by it.
Many fashion influencers on Instagram over the past week or so have been posting what they actually wore each day for seven days, eg The Anna Edit, Lilly Pebbles, Polly Sayer, WeareTwinset, ChloeLovestoShop.
In nearly all cases it was surprisingly ordinary though, compared to the styling images and reels they usually upload.
I guess I was under the misapprehension that each styling post or reel they do is actually what they spend each day in. But I'm getting the feeling now that they're just like the rest of us, and these uploads are purely for 'work', usually to do with the brands they work with (or their own brand as with WeareTwinset)
