Birkenstock Arizona Big Buckle - if you own please reply

Bought them, love them visually but they fart when I walk - does this stop?!

Does the material scuff and mark easily? It feels like it would but then for the price tag I feel like it shouldn't? Maybe it's more robust than I think?

I also ordered a pair of normal Arizonas the suedey type and they don't fart and are a bit more comfy so I think I need to choose these but the others have my heart

I have the big buckle, Madrids in tan, and they scuff really easily.

If it helps with your decision to go with the non scuffy not farty shoe, having initially loved the look of the big buckle I now think they are trying just a little too hard (the shoe not the wearer)

I have these - a taupe colour - a sort of matt leather - I'm not sure which of yours that matches with. They don't make a noise - are you wearing them with bare feet? I always wear socks 🙄- the highly sculpted shape under foot took some getting used to but now they are the a joy to wear. The "whatever it is" that they are made from hasn't marked up. I wouldn't care anyway - they are for wearing and walking in - not for looking at IMHO.

I do love Birkenstocks but the prices just keep getting more mental. I once got accidentally soaked in mine and they smelled rank forevermore. And the top part is a type of plastic I think. Can't say I love any of the countless 'dupes' mind.

I have the Madrid Big Buckle in Cognac, and they are the comfiest Birkies I've ever had.

They are the only ones that farted when I first wore them funnily enough, but that only lasted a week.

And now they only ever fart when I've had baked beans or sprouts, which is weird...😬

The ones I like are 125. When did they become this expensive !

Soft footbed is what you need. Game changer in the Birkenstock world. Sadly not available in madrids or big buckle.

I have the big buckle in navy ( from 2020) and they do not and never have farted. Took more wearing in to be super comfy ( for me) because the leather isn't as supple as other style imo. But I wear them loads. When it's actually summer and not at the moment when it's shit
