What style/colour handbag for summer?

I fancy a camera bag (I'm guessing I'm behind the times) and not sure what colour to go with everything in the summer. I do like a silver bag but someone said oh are we back in the 90's when they saw my little silver rucksack - not sure if they meant colour or style 😑
Shall I stick with silver or possibly nude? Are camera bags already too dated? Like pom pom London? Also any good non leather recommendations would be good. Don't want big, don't want little - I need a goldilocks bag 😊.

I'm probably very boring but I tend to go for neutral colours. Brown/tan leather, straw and lighter shades in summer.

I've got a couple of black bags and I think one coloured one which is a pink clutch matched to a wedding guest outfit.

I see coloured bags I like but then feel limited by them and don't like things too 'matchy'.

I do find sliver bags look dated and quite cheap even if they're not.

This is similar to my current day bag and I love it.
