help with my boring hair please

My hair has been pretty much the same since I was 17. Long and brown. I almost always wear it in a ponytail because I hate having it touching my face. I've never coloured it.
I'm now 36 and think it's time for a more grown up do. I need it to be easy to do in the mornings because I've been so incredibly lazy with my hair for years and it would be hard to change now.
I've put a pic of myself on my profile and another style I was vaguely thinking of. Can anyone advise me?

What about a bob?

Beauregard · 17/02/2008 11:44

this one?

this one?

the pob?

Beauregard · 17/02/2008 11:46

The one on your profile looks like maybe it would take a bit of styling.

Whereas a straight haired bob tends to fall into place .

I would have one if had the nerve to go for the chop.

Now Kittylette has gorgeous hair

I love Katie Holmes' hair. It's gorgeous.

your hair is lovely quickdraw - I'd go for a bob, longish, with side parting, not the do you put on profile - it's too teased and new reader-ish...

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/02/2008 11:51

doh ! news reader-ish

ooh yes a bob with it a bit longer at the front would be nice I think! You're probably right about the one I put up. Someone I know has that hair and it looks fabulous but she probably has hair that has more lift than mine so it needs less 'poufing'
