Curvy winters, what summer coats are you wearing?

I got caught out yesterday wearing a black longish wool type coat over jeans and trainers, thinking it wouldn't be as sunny as it was! But now I'm looking, I think trench coat beige wouldn't work for me although I like that style if a bit shorter.

I tend to wear flared jeans, trainers and a nice top. Navy specs. So I need something flattering rather than too cropped. Any tips?

I could do slightly longer, like bum but not the really long ones.

I have a deep khaki (not a sludgy coloured khaki) utility jacket that look nice with jeans trainers

I also have chunky cardi that is good.

I've realised trench coats aren't for me.

I'm looking for a shacket for spring

Have a short hooded swing Parker which is my ultimate travel jacket as it's rain proof and can fit layer under it
