Dress with shorts (and pockets)

Hi all,

I wonder if I'm looking for something that doesn't exist... But I cycle a lot to take the kids to school and want to wear more dresses. Is there such a thing as a nice loose cotton dress but with integrated shorts?

Something like this sort of dress but with some short things underneath.

Cant you just wear cycling shorts underneath?

I cycle to work and wear a lot of dresses etc. In the summer, I sometimes just wear little shorts underneath if I need to. I think I just searched for modesty shorts on Amazon or shorts that are designed for chub rub/chafing- I think I got a pack of three (nude, black and white).

The dress you linked is Weird Fish. Take a look at their knee length jumpsuits, they might work.

Why can't you just wear shorts under a normal dress?

Weirdfish also have some nice playsuits which look like dresses like this one.

I wear little sports shorts or cycling shorts underneath dresses for easy modesty. Some sports brands like Adidas/Nike and some plain cheapy ones from Asda which are a bit longer and tbh more comfortable.

Weird fish quality is shit, the dresses I got faded in the wash.
But the designs are nice.

I've not had that problem. The dresses I've had have washed really well and look as good as new.

How would you go toilet if the shorts were built in? Take the whole dress off for a pee?

Just get some different coloured cycling shorts to match dresses. Primark do them.

There are lots of 'excercise dresses' available. I have one from Outdoor Voice & another from Aerie. I absolutely love them. Mine have shorts, pockets & are both soft & comfy.
