What would be your perfect £6 buy either in beauty or accessories?

QuickNameChangeForMeToday · 28/04/2023 18:09

L’occitane magic key for getting the last out of tubes is about £6 and great!

Pack of hair ties for the gym?

Scalp massager?

Beauty sharpener for lip/eye pencils?

I personally would add a mini box of Charbonnel truffles 🤣

WeAreTheHeroes · 28/04/2023 18:10

Yeah, chocolates. Or something from L'Occitane.

DanceForMeColin · 28/04/2023 18:12

@QuickNameChangeForMeToday that magic key looks fab but it's £5.10 - any ideas for a £1 buy?

Niftythrifter · 28/04/2023 18:12

Socks

DanceForMeColin · 28/04/2023 18:13

Oh just seen they have chocolate covered honeycomb for £6.50. I think I have solved the problem!

DisforDarkChocolate · 28/04/2023 18:13

I bought a new sieve for the kitchen. Next time it's going to be that key gadget.

BonnieGlasses · 28/04/2023 18:14

I buy a stash of birthday cards when in this situation.

DanceForMeColin · 28/04/2023 18:15

@BonnieGlasses that does sound more practical than chocolate covered honeycomb... decisions, decisions

AnythingMuppetTM · 28/04/2023 18:15

Snake oxygen bubble mask is just over £6. The l”occitane key is £5.10.

Precipice · 28/04/2023 18:15

Is there something that you regularly use that you could buy an extra one of to keep in stock?

DanceForMeColin · 28/04/2023 18:18

@Precipice I could be nice and put £6 towards some of the insanely expensive eyeliner that DD likes

(Digression - are those magic keys really worth it? Boots has something similar at 2 for £6 today. It’s in their Freebie Friday offer. )

Sellotape for £1:35?

AFlockOfTigers · 28/04/2023 18:20

Brabantia binbags.
Vacuum cleaner bags
Amtico floor cleaner
Dylon machine dye in velvet black to redye something faded. (Or dark green to refresh my towels).

Not S&B I realise, but useful.

DanceForMeColin · 28/04/2023 18:26

@AnythingMuppetTM Ooh that looks good and feels faintly treat like (without eating the chocolate honeycomb), thanks!

OP posts:
DanceForMeColin · 28/04/2023 18:27

@AFlockOfTigers I salute your practicality!

It’s a rarity something going on offer is a pain . Definitely worth getting, I put them in this year’s Christmas stockings for the adults… including the men!

Puffykins · 28/04/2023 18:28

Knickers.

DanceForMeColin · 28/04/2023 18:34

@QuickNameChangeForMeToday I'm going to put the keys on my list of ideas for stocking fillers, I have little silicone scrapers for glass bottles of foundation and they are SO useful

OP posts:
DanceForMeColin · 28/04/2023 18:34

@puffykins reliable choice, you can never have too many knicks

I’m pretty sure I bought a spatula last time I needed to do this!

Or socks - always useful!

Wouldn't you have to pay postage on the return?!
