1 rail in a cupboard for work clothes, coats and jeans
1 rail in same cupboard for tops and jumpers
1 part of a wardrobe for special clothes
1 under bed draw for workout clothes
1 under bed draw for scarves
1 chest of (three) draws for underwear, socks, vest tops, t-shirts
1 storage thing for hats, gloves and bags
1 massive rail in the shed for different season clothes - so depends on the season what is on it
Downstairs coat rail with some coats and jackets and bags I am using at the moment
1 place for all my shoes

I do not live in a mansion, I just live in a small house with a big shed!

I have a small, antique, lopsided wardrobe and that's it. It has 50% space for hangers and 4 little shelves. Shoes and coats go elsewhere. I don't have children and am not married so don't have to share space. Even so, my space is laughably small! I do have a chest of drawers for bits and bobs like underwear, socks, beauty/hair care.
I once lived in a house with wall to wall fitted cupboards and only managed to fill one segment Grin

Now books...are another matter.

Shit, re-reading that sounds pompous, I am not presuming to value my intellectual pursuits over fashion (it's all the same to me), although most of my books are plain weird. I just don't have many clothes, even though I overthink them and love them. When I was young I had too many, and the overspill was something to see.

Four wardrobes, one built-in in each bedroom plus one freestanding wardrobe with drawers and vertical shelves plus hanging rail. One for current seasons clothes and shoes/boots, one for summer clothes plus sandals, one for coats and the freestanding one mainly for tops, shirts etc., plus handbags on the shelves and holiday stuff, swimwear in the drawers. One five drawer tall chest for scarves, gloves, socks, extra make-up and hairdryer, hot brushes etc. One seven drawer chest for underwear, leisure wear, t-shirts, make-up, skin care and hair products. All drawers have dividers in them so are organised and tidy and I can find everything easily.
