Revamping my wardrobe

I'm in the middle of revamping my wardrobe and struggling to find good brands/styles that are suitable for my age group. I'm 29 and I used to buy a lot from peacocks/new look etc but they seem to have jumped on the love island bandwagon with lots of clingy, skimpy clothes that cover the bare minimum. I feel too old for this now but don't know what styles to get that don't run the risk of looking 'mumsy'. Trousers I am fine with but struggle with tops/t-shirts.

I don't have a huge budget. I don't mind spending £50 - £70 for a dressing up outfit but for my casual everyday stuff I prefer to stay within the £10 - £20 range. Can anyone suggest any decent brands. I'm a slim size 10/12 but I'm big busted so prefer things that I can pull over my head if that helps.

You might want to try Vinted, as you can get really good brands within your price ranges, some items never or barely worn

In terms of brands, this all depends on your style, but I'd recommend the following, which are all good quality: Jigsaw, Cos, Arket, Massimo Dutti, Whistles, Uniqlo for basics, Thought Clothing. This should give you a decent start
