Please help me find a dress/outfit

Please help me find a dress/outfit to wear?

I have two weddings to go to. I will be 7.5-8.5 months pregnant. I’m a 14-16ish. It’s august/September time and it needs to go all day.

I’m flexible on budget, especially if say it includes a really useful jacket I can wear at work in future, but not looking to break the bank.

Try Asos. I’d go for a maternity shirt dress or midi dress style. Something with working buttons down the front will mean you can breastfeed in it. At 7.5-8.5 months pregnant you get a pass on formality - A new cotton shirt dress in a nice print would be plenty smart enough. Don’t wear heels, go for flat comfy sandals.

Are your weddings very grand? If not you could choose one of these dresses. Smart accessories would upgrade them enough for a more casual wedding.

Thanks @Aerosarethebest, I’ve never worn a shirt dress but I might give it a go for that. The BF point is good actually as if the baby came early but we were both ok, I would try to still attend at least part (albeit with a lot of planning needed).

I fear I’m not elegant enough to pull one of those off and look smart enough, @MarciaSaysANumber but actually it’s given me an idea about fabric - cupro is lovely, soft and super-cool in the summer. Will look into that a bit, thanks!

Thanks @ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap - I really like the shapes of several of the Seraphine ones. Hard to get my head round the paler colours though, I’m a bit stuck in the “dark colours are slimming” rut. I might have to try one or two of the Seraphine ones though because they are really lovely!

And possibly I need to think about a nice silk jacket, not too structured but not a cardi?

I recently got a new haircut and have really been pleased by how much better I look, so probably need to get out of a few other ruts!
