How do I improve the look of my hands

My hands are looking dry, with some sun damage and scars. Can anyone recommend anything that can help me improve the way they look and repair the damage.

Laser will help

That would be amazing. Unfortunately I can't afford it.

Exfoliate, feed the hand with face creams, wear SPF everyday, wear hand balm at night with (white)cotton gloves on. Take some good skin supplements like vit c and e. Shape nails well in short ovals, trim cuticles, use a cuticle oil everyday and don't wear coloured nail varnish.

That is my aim at least. My hands are a total mess because I love gardening too much to waste a minute in putting my gloves on. 😁

Exfoliating really really helps. Just make sure to moisturise and sun-protect afterwards.

Take a teaspoon of sugar and a teaspoon of (preferably) olive oil but any will do and stand rubbing it all into your dry hands over your kitchen sink. Do it for a good five minutes with NO water. Get the sugar right into your nail surround and your knuckles. Then rinse with warm, not hot, water. Wipe off oil residue with a flannel. Then add any or all moisturisers/oils on top, preferably rubbed in by a loving parter!

Thank you! I'll give this a go this weekend. Yes, gardening is what has messed my hands up too. Plus scratchy cats 🐈‍⬛ .

Fantastic advice. I have horrible dry hands like something from the dark crystal. Following with interest. I may post before and after pics!
