What are women wearing to interviews these days?!

Have a face to face interview next week. Haven’t had a face to face interview since 2017. Last one was on zoom so I only had to worry about the top half.

Senior role, professional services at a very fancy private school.

I’m mid-40s, a size 16 hourglass.

Any thoughts?

I struggle with dresses. If it fits on the top it’s huge on the bottom, unless I go for something stretchy which isn’t brilliant for interviews.

I have a green pleated midi skirt that I could try on, with a good black t-shirt and either ruched sleeve blazer or leather jacket?

Last interview I attended I wore a light merino wool sweater with slightly puffed sleeves, in a chartreuse colour, with black wide leg trousers from Hush and slightly flatform brogues (for height). I had black rimmed glasses and simple gold earrings. I don't wear heels ever now so don't pretend otherwise for interviews!

Wrap dresses are always fairly flattering and each to pair with a jacket?
