Facial sunscreen for sensitive skin which doesn't leave white cast?? Help!!

I have sensitive skin and usually use fragrance free products.
I'm looking for a sunscreen for the face which doesn't leave the white cast but also doesn't itch my face.
Preferably not expensive.
Does such a thing exist??

Do you mean no white at all or just one which soaks in quickly? I've found Piz Buin's sun sensitive face SPF goes on white but soaks in quickly

I have had luck with the body shop one even though it isn't marketed for sensitive skin

eighteenthirtyeight · 20/04/2023 18:24

Oh no. So it begins

I really like the new garnier invisible serum which is better for me than any of the expensive ones I’ve tried

I use this one from Nivea. It's brilliant. Not sticky or white and easily absorbed. About £10 from.Boots

@Happygirl79 have you experience of that reducing dark spots?

I use the sensitive skin version of this and really like it. My skin is mature/dry.

Happygirl79 · 20/04/2023 20:57

I've always found other creams make my eyes sting but this Nivea one doesn't so I am sure it will be fine for sensitive skin. Great factor 50 skin protection too.

Happygirl79 · 20/04/2023 20:59

Yes I do believe it has faded the sunspots a little but have to confess alongside using the nivea cream that I've also had the sunspots lasered

La ROCHE posay anthelios ones are good

BeansOnToast32 · 20/04/2023 21:04

Not the cheapest but I use Helicare Mineral Tolerance Fluid! I have Rosacea and it doesn't irritate my skin or leave a white cast.

paisley256 · 20/04/2023 21:04

I like Lancaster 50 in the orange bottle it rubs in lovely and doesn't break me out either.

Twoshoesnewshoes · 20/04/2023 21:16

I can’t use any sunscreen on my face as it causes spots or rash
i use L’Oréal Revitalift with spf 30 and that works really well for me.

Seconded

I have sensitive skin and can't wear moisturisers or makeup with spf in them so I am very careful with sunscreens. Lucy Bee 30spf serum is fab though. No white cast, soaks in well, no fragrance and, most important, it doesn't make my face itch!

Boots No.7 Protect and Perfect, usually on 3 for 2.
