Tell me about your micro tattoo

I've always sort of half heartedly wanted a tattoo but a) didn't want the pain b) didn't want anything big and c) was never sure what to have! But I've discovered the existence of micro tattoos and am definitely tempted.

If you have one, tell me what it is and where please? And why? I'm thinking v simple (and boring) like a heart or a ladybird. But also have a couple of other ideas. Possibly on the inside of my wrist.

I like micro tattoos but my friend with tattoos on inside her wrist said that's a very painful place to have one as I was considering one there. I think as it's bony.

I have a small heart on my thigh. It wasn't too painful tbh.

aren't they more likely to morph into a micro blob, being so small?

I could have written this post . I've wanted a small tattoo for a while but
have always changed my mind about what to have .

No, apparently you do have to find a tattoo artist who can work with very fine blades. The bigger risk is that they fade as there's simply not that much ink involved.

I have a butterfly on my left hip, just above the bone. I got it done for my 40th. I didn't know what I wanted either so I just picked one off the wall.
I like where it is, because unless I'm completely naked no one can see it.
