How can I wedding-fy this dress?

How would you spruce up this dress for a wedding? Not super clear on the photo, but it is navy. I quite like the idea of pairing up with pale pink, or maybe emerald green? I've also seen a white and floral bolero jacket?

I have no clue, help!

I would go with some fuchsia accessories.

What is the fabric?

Pink sounds nice with that, but I'd maybe go for something brighter than pale pink which can veer into a bit insipid.

Or maybe green?

Deathraystare · 16/04/2023 18:23

Or white if you suit it?

Maybe unhelpful but is it your only option?

As it’s quite a plain dress I would get a jacket, shoes, bag and hat all in another colour. Perhaps a printed jacket.

But if you are spending on a jacket to liven it up, you may as well buy a better dress which you could wear on its own.

If it’s a summer wedding I would say jewellery, bag and shoes would be the way to jazz it up for a wedding. I would also have a nice hair clip.

I'd also add a pretty belt in a contrasting colour - maybe white or bright pink/orange/purple to tie in with your other accessories.

If I went for a fuchsia jacket, what about shoes and bag? I imagine all fuchsia would be too matchy?
