My hair is very fine, frizzy, and curly/wavy (not a nice defined curl, think hagrid from Harry Potter). I like to just wear it smooth and straight / with a bit of a blow dry.

I use oils, masks, don’t straighten it and usually use a blow dry brush with a good heat protector to smooth it as much as possible. it’s never ever smooth though and always ends up with frizz around the hairline and the hair there goes curly by the time I get to the office despite using hairspray. It’s also so fine

im at a loss what to do with it! Worried if I get a smoothing treatment it’ll just go flat, but maybe I can work with it to get some volume? But then that would probs take a lot of time each morning. Wish it was just easier to manage!

on top of this I’m noticing grey patches. I have dark brown hair with a tendency to go ginger when I’ve dyed it dark brown before. So again not sure what to do - worried I’ll again pay for a weird brown/ginger colour. Not sure I can get highlights at the moment as I’m pregnant

any advice would be so appreciated

You need advice? I'd strongly encourage you to find a hairdresser who understands both your hair and what you want to do with it. And who can suggest what would lol best for your hair.

All those things need to work together for you to have the best hair you can have.

p.s. Congratulations ❤️
