What do you wear with dungarees

I've bought myself a couple of pairs of dungarees. Both look great with a fitted t-shirt but Im in Scotland so majority of the time I'll need to wear something over them.
How do you style yours?

I prefer to wear a jumper underneath when it's cold (so I don't need a cardigan on top). I have plain coloured dungarees and wear with stripey or patterned jumpers. If its really cold I wear leggings underneath too.

Or a patterned uniqlo heat tech top.

Long sleeved t-shirt with short sleeved one over the top or t-shirt plus cardigan (eg chunky/big knit/slouchy/cropped etc rather than waterfall/belted)
I don't wear dungarees anymore though because I started to look like Hale or Pace and it is not the look I'm after really.

The ones I bought are a fairly bright orange pair and a petrol blue pair. Striped jumpers sound good for the blues ones but maybe something a little more understated for the orange. Have a fear I could end up looking like either Chucky or a children's tv presenter!

Try a flannel underneath with maybe a tank underneath and that way when it gets warmer you can whip of the shirt and wear it open on top of the dungas and the vest.

You could also try a cotton shirt with a thermal underneath it.

Linking the idea of a shirt, especially with the orange ones.

Similar to suggestions above, my go to for colder days is fitted Uniqlo heattech or merino wool polo neck under, and a denim shirt/shacket worn open over the top. I prefer this look to cardigans

I wear jumpers underneath mainly because of the going to the toilet issue because actually I prefer the look of a cardigan over the top. Jumper underneath always makes me look like a children’s tv presenter.

I have a couple of shackets and pale pink boxy denim jacket I'll try on with them. One thing I don't really have is jumpers that aren't oversized but if I could get away with jackets till winter I think I could be ok.

I have an old cashmere jumper I like wearing under mine. It's a bit bobbly and shrunken to wear normally, but perfect for under the dungarees. You might be able to find a cheap one on ebay, especially at this time of year.

I wear fitted, black, roll neck jumpers under mine when it's cold (I'd never wear them normally but they work well i think).
