Skinny Jeans/Jeggings

So a good few years ago I used to get my skinny jeans from George @ Asda, they were the Wonderfit ones, they were brilliant, just perfect fit for me (I’m an apple shape I believe). Super-stretchy & really comfy, with a zip & button fastening so not too much like a legging. They were skinny on the leg, right down to the ankle. They just ‘moulded’ to your shape.

I have worn them to death, small holes have appeared in the waistline where I’ve probably been pulling them up, something I always do with skinnies.

I did try a new pair a couple of years ago but they didn’t fit right. Didn’t seem to mould around your shape & sort of kicked out a bit at the bottom. Again I tried another pair last year & also earlier this year, I even checked to see if the material content was the same as my old ones, which it is but they just don’t fit the same?

Granted I put a little bit of weight on over covid, but not a lot, I still get into my old pairs easily.

I have tried New Look, Next, Matalan, M&S TU (Sainsburys) & Peacocks & Primark for a pair of skinnies & I just can not get that right fit. It’s so frustrating! I don’t know how much longer these old George Wonderfit ones are going to last me, before they actually split at the crotch when I’m out!

Any recommendations on where else I could look?

Tesco? I personally don't fit their jeans but might be worth a try for you?

I love Uniglo pull on jeggings... I have them in 3 colours and wear them on

Try Topshop Hourglass jeans. The Jamie and Joni ones are skinny fit. They're on ASOS

Ah thanks Puffin, I forgot to mention I’ve tried some from Tesco a while ago, but they may have some new ones in since so could be worth a try, thank you.

Another shout out for Uniqlo pull on ones. I also love Calzedonia skinnies, especially their eco light denim push up ones which have a nice amount of stretch to mould to you.

I used to buy the Asda Wonderfit ones but they don't seem to fit the same any more, or last as long. I wear New Look Amie fit jeans now and also have a pair from Tesco.

I'm an "apple", & M&S jeggings are good on me.

Have you tried all the different ones Primark do? I've got a couple of pairs of theirs which sound just like what you want, skinny down to the ankle (although I went for the shorter length). I think they're the super stretch skinnies but I had to keep trying on loads of their different styles to find them.
