Vinted - buyer claims to only have received one item

I sold two jumpers to one buyer

I sent them in one package, and the buyer is claiming there was only one in the package

Has anyone experienced this? Seems odd to lie about it for the sake of a tenner or something. They have great reviews

I'll probably just refund them the item but it's a bit jarring!

Hmmm, ask the buyer to report an issue to Vinted. I think that gives you the right of reply. See where it takes you.

Vinted are pretty shite when any issues arise. I’ve had it once only thanks and it was easier to just to refund the buyer, even though you know they are lying!

Don't refund them! That will only encourage them to keep scamming people.

I've told a buyer to send me back an item she claims is damaged, just last night (started a thread on here too). As of yet, no further word on it from her.

I had this! I sold a bundle of six and they said only one arrived. As someone else said, Vinted just weren’t interested at all. I think they paid £40 for the bundle and they offered to send me £20 outside of Vinted for the one dress that had arrived, which made me even more suspicious! So frustrating.

If they were serious I suspect they'd report it to vinted themselves, which suggests they're scamming.

It's annoying - I found give them a bad review, but equally they could go the same to me

I offered to refund the allegedly missing item a while ago and they've not replied. I'd like to think they feel guilty and have had an attack to their conscious!!
