Date last weekend, I look awful in the photos :(

Went out on a date last weekend with someone at weekend and cringe when I look at myself in the photos.
I literally spent ages getting ready, using new high coverage concealer and make up etc but my horrid dark circles still show in every single photo. I looked ok in mirrors and when I checked makeup and trialed it before the big date, but in all the photos it look terrible. So depressing :(

Could well have been the lighting. I take heart from the fact that when the tv freezes, good looking actors can be caught at really unflattering angles. I'm sure you looked better than that in RL.

Are you going on another date?

I feel like photos don't usually look like people, as in I've taken photos of friends and thought wow what you look like in front of me is so different to this photo! How you feel is more important tbh, you liked what you saw in the mirror and were probably feeling good about yourself which would have come across and is really attractive :) how was the date?
