1920s party, help me choose a dress!

I am heading to a 1920s murder mystery party and need to wear an appropriate costume. I have two dresses to choose from!

Which one looks best? I feel uncomfortable in both as they seem to highlight my mum tummy!

They both look good, lucky you to have two beautiful dresses.

Personally I prefer the first but the silver is still very nice

I prefer the first. If you are concerned about your tummy (which you shouldn’t be) the second one’s central pattern draws attention to that part.

Both are perfect but I slightly prefer the first and agree with the comment about the pattern on the second one drawing the eye to your belly area. Not that I think you need to worry, but as you mentioned it...

What are you wearing on your head/feet? and do you have beads? (I went to a 1920s themed NYE party in Berlin a few years ago - the outfits were amazing)

The first looks a bit roomier, that would be my preferred option and I like the lower neckline. Both are lovely though, so I think it's a matter of which you feel more confident in, as both meet the requirement and are glamorous!

The first one being darker hides more tummy (not that I think you have an issue), but I also think it looks classier
