I need tights/pantyhose for my summer office uniform

Dear wise S&B-ers,

From October till now I've worn my winter office uniform to the office everyday: midi/long dresses with black opaque tights. I have a selection of about 10 dresses that I alternate. I know it is not very adventurous, but I have little time in the morning, literally dress in the dark (to not wake the kids) and I need something easy and still decent looking. My office shoes are all in the office.
My legs are really not suitable to be shown to the outside world uncovered so I need a solution for summer. Are skin tone pantyhose still a big no no? I always manage to ruin pantyhose so would love something thicker but will I look like a flight attendant in beige/neutral tights?

Snag tights!!! They are comfortable and have plain patterns or really fun patterns- plus they don’t fall down and their sizing is really good!

I can't be doing with tights in summer and get by on a mixture of fake tan, longer dresses and light trousers.

I feel ill just thinking about tights in summer!
I'd go with loose trousers

I'm extremely short and round and have always felt that trousers don't really suit me. Have very broad hips and much smaller waist so either I go with a larger size that sticks out at the waist or they are too tight. I will look for trousers though, thanks.
And also many thanks for the snag tights suggestion, am now browsing their page. Don't think I would dare to go bold and wear color but they at least promise no snags!

Lots.kf trousers shapes don't suit me for similar reasons but I am loving the current wide leg flowy styles.
