Balyage toner at home?

Is there any kind of product you can buy for home that mimics the effect of a salon toner?

When I have my balyage done at the hairdressers (light brown hair with blonde highlights), they use a toner which really blends the two shades together.

At home, using a purple shampoo just seems to make the blonde brighter whereas I’m looking for less of a contrast between the two shades without adding any warmth. Thanks in advance.

Ask your hairdresser exactly what toner it is and pick it up from Sally's. Wouldn't want to suggest one just in case it ruins your lovely hair.

Thank you @DeflatedAgain I did ask but they said it’s only for professional use and wouldn’t give me the details.
