Summer outfits for an hourglass

I’m an hourglass shape but I struggle with what to wear. I am desperate for some summer clothes and wonder what you’d buy if you are the same shape is me? I am a size 12. I like plain clothes, nothing pattered.

Shirt dresses. H&M have some at the moment.

Thank you. I can’t wear a dress like that as an hourglass as it’s too high a neckline but I do like some dresses on the website and will have a look at them when I go shopping at the weekend.

I'm the same, 5'7 and size 10.

Shirt dresses and fitted maxi dresses are great.
Wide leg linen trousers with a fitted vest/tshirt and an open shirt over the top.
Wrap style tops (white stuff/boden) with well fitted cropped trousers.
Trouser suits are quite in style at the moment for cooler evenings, a well fitted jacket looks good.

It's not easy really. Can't wear anything strappy cos boobs need support and even if you have a great bra it looks wierd without something holding them up.
Can't wear shorts because no matter where they finish they make my thighs look huge
Can't wear anything floaty cos just look pregnant.

Id love to be willowy in a long loose floaty number.

I'm an hourglass too but that kind of shoulder line balances it out!
